WOOLSERY SPORTS & COMMUNITY HALL HIRE CHARGES

(Effective from 1st Jan 2024)

 

VAT at the current rate is included in all charges.

Registered charitable users may be exempt from VAT, if using the area for their charitable purpose, and must notify the bookings clerk of their charity number.

 

All prices are per session of a morning, afternoon, or evening, and include light kitchen use, unless stated otherwise. Use of a second room - £12 per session. Morning finishes/afternoon starts at 1 or 2 am.

Hirers are responsible for laying out the room as required, and clearing it. All users are required to clean the room,  and take away their rubbish. If additional cleaning is required, it will be charged to the users.

As a condition of our licence, all beer/wines/ spirits consumed on the premises must be purchased through the Social Club.

 

VILLAGE ORGANISATIONS

£16, but organisations that have a regular trustee £14. Skittles £9 hard courts £10. Short hire users £10 per hour. Youth group £28 (2 rooms and others as available).

Fund raising events - £24  (kitchen extra)  Hard courts £12.

 

 NON VILLAGE ORGANISATIONS

 £30 to £60, dependant on numbers/event. Hard courts £12.

Fund raising events – £40

 

CHILDREN’S PARTIES/ CHRISTENINGS

Village residents   £30

Non-village residents   £40 to be paid in full at time of booking.

 

FUNERAL TEAS

to include kitchen use - £45. With bar as well - £65

COMMERCIAL EVENTS

£40 to £60, dependant on numbers/event, to be paid in full at time of booking.

 

PRIVATE EVENING PARTIES

Trustees reserve the right to decline a booking.

Village residents £30

Non-village residents £60. To be paid in full at time of booking, plus £60.00 refundable security deposit.

 

WEDDING RECEPTIONS – Saturday to Sunday 1pm + main hall from 5pm Fri

Village residents   £325.00, to be paid in full at time of booking, plus £50.00

refundable security deposit.

Non-village residents   £375.00, to be paid in full at time of booking, plus £50.00 refundable security deposit.

A range of additional services are available, along with wedding advice/guidance to make your event a success, are available from the social club manager.

 

SOCIAL CLUB

Use of the Social Club for any private event is additional to normal hire charges and should be arranged through the Social Club Manager. 

 

OTHER ITEMS

Drapes for the Main Hall are available at extra cost and can be arranged through the Social Club Manager.

A charge is made for use of the sound/lighting system in the Main Hall dependent on requirement.  A quote for use can be requested at time of booking.

 

SNOOKER ROOM

A maximum of FOUR persons at a time are allowed in the Snooker Room.  At least ONE person must be over 18 years.

 

KITCHEN CHARGES

Use of main kitchen appliances (oven, hot cupboard, dishwasher etc) will incur an additional charge of £15

Use of crockery, cutlery will incur an additional charge of £10

Use of kitchen appliances, crockery, cutlery must be indicated at time of booking, and in some circumstances the kitchen area will be shared.

 

DEPOSITS

Deposits will be returned, less the cost of damages/breakages, provided the hall is left in a clean and tidy condition and that all rubbish is removed from the site.
